I was speaking with the Director of Finance during the last council meeting and he didn't mention any issues with staffing either. All full time City staff have personal crisis counseling as part of their employment benefits, who uses these services is a confidential matter I would not (and don't want) to be privy to...it's none of my business. Why are three senior staff members on leave? This has resulted in increased wages for those individuals now in acting Manager positions and increased overtime for all staff. I also understand that councilling from the Homewood is being offered to all Finance staff. I find this situation very disturbing. What is it costing the tax payers?
